She sleeps with me. She is a Yorkie 4 lbs. The vet gave her allergy pills to take. I give a 1/2 one before we go to bed. It does ok for about three hours, then the itching starts all over again. I think the pill just puts her to sleep is what it does. Help me if you can on this problem. I feed her Ceasar dog food. It's not the dry kind. My dog no longer has a scratching, biting, rubbing time because I changed his diet to an allergen free food. Raw meat, not from the butcher but from a manufacturer that processes the food. Hypoallergenic diets did not cure or ease my dogs allergy in fact the hypoallergenic foods including prescription diets did nothing to help, in fact they added to the problem.
